4.1 - Privacy Types Across MindTouch
Control access for a specific page or group of pages, including who can see it and the contribution permissions.
There are four different types of privacy in MindTouch:
- 4.1.1 - Site Privacy: Determine if a site can be viewed by the public or requires authentication.
- 4.1.2 - User Types and Pro Member Roles Review: Control the tasks users and groups are allowed to perform globally.
- 4.1.3 - Page Privacy: Determine if a page can be viewed by the public or requires special page permissions.
- 4.1.4 - Page Permissions: Control the tasks that specified users and groups are allowed to perform on a page.
Roles assigned in the control panel grant global privileges to users and groups; page permissions grant page privileges on individual pages or sections of pages.
