Template Directory

MindTouch comes with a list of default page templates, but you can create additional custom templates to leverage in your content.
Access the Template Directory
- Navigate to Site tools > Dashboard
- In the Site Administration section, click Template Directory.
Understand the Template Directory Structure
There are three sections you should make note of in the Template Directory - Template:Custom, Template:MindTouch, and the IDF3/Pages section located in Template:MindTouch.
- Template:Custom - This section is where you want to add all your custom templates.
- Template:MindTouch - If you make changes to any of the Templates in this hierarchy they will ultimately be overwritten on a weekly basis.
With the exception of the new page templates located under the /Template:MindTouch/IDF3/Pages hierarchy.
