KCS Practice 7: Performance Assessment

The techniques for KCS® Practice 7 outline assessment methods that evolved from manufacturing models where activity is directly linked to outcome.
 

Technique 7.1: KCS Roles and the Licensing Model
KCS Method MindTouch Capability
User Roles Allows for admins to determine what level of access a given user should have
User Groups Groups can be permissioned to only see certain sections of content
User Permissions Users can be permissioned to only see certain branches of content
Page Permissions Pages can be permissioned so only authorized users have access
