Here's how you can subscribe to receive notifications for when pages and their child pages get updated or have comments added to them.
*Note that this functionality is not available for Community Members
Attached to every page is the ability to subscribe to updates. Pro Members can subscribe to updates by clicking on the Page Notifications button in the top right of the screen:
This will then present you with the following options:
This page only will provide updates for the page you are currently on. If you select This page and all subpages then you will also get notifications to all of the subpages under the page you are currently on. If you want to modify your page notification subscriptions then you can go to Tools -> Page Notifications to unsubscribe or see all subscriptions.
Updates will be sent under the following conditions:
- When pages have been created
- When pages have been updated
- When pages have been deleted
- When pages have been reverted
- When pages have been moved
- When tags have been updated
- When comments have been created
- When comments have been updated
- When comments have been deleted
- When files have been added
- When files have been updated
- When files have been deleted
- When files properties have changed
- When files have been restored
As a Pro Member, you can subscribe to these updates. When subscribed you'll receive your notifications in the form of email messages. Emails will be sent immediately (as opposed to aggregated in batches), and will not include notifications of changes made by yourself. You must be logged in as a Pro Member to sign up for notifications. As a Pro Member, you can sign up to receive notifications for either a specific page or that page and all of its child pages.
Updates for pages are also available via RSS.

What are the benefits of this feature?
When you want to keep in touch with a particular bit of content on MindTouch, this is the best way to do it. That way are sure to be in the loop when changes occur or people have comments/feedback for you.
This feature favors those of us pack rats who like to hoard email. If you never delete your mail, but archive it instead, then this feature is great because you can look back through all of your saved messages with the same subject line (i.e. the title of page with the update) to see a complete history of the page's changes.
We also like this feature because if you're really trying to stay tuned to a particular page's changes, then you are sure to get an update about it. Instead of lumping all changes throughout the site into a single email notification (where that message might get lost) we send them off one page at a time so you can decide what's important for you to stay tuned to.
When to use this feature?
If you are a Pro Member with an admin role, you may wish to use this feature to monitor all content on the site by subscribing to the root level page of the site.
If you are an editor or author, you may wish to subscribe to the page(s) you have edited/authored so you can incorporate feedback and monitor changes made by other authors and editors.
Customizing the Reply-To email address
You also have the ability to change the Reply-To email address for notifications. If a user receives a notification, they may click "Reply" in their email client to send the site administrator a message regarding the notification. For this use case, the Reply-To email address is what will be targeted for any replies to email notifications. Customizing the Reply-To email address within MindTouch TCS can be configured through the Control Panel within the Configuration section.
Simply input the email address you wish to have notifications sent from, and save the configuration for this change to take effect.
