This article reviews how to modify your MindTouch articles.
As of 8/2/2017, our editor UI has been updated. Please see this article for the latest editor documentation, which applies to the current version of Mindtouch as well as legacy versions.
Editing an article
Navigate to the article you want to edit and then select Edit Page at the top. This will then load the editor:
Here you will see the WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) rich text editor. You can change text, italicize, bold or any other common document edit function.
At the bottom left of the editor you can find how many words and characters are in your document.
Once you have made your changes, it is always good practice to make notations on what you have edited in your documents. This will take the guess work out when you are working on documents with others or when you go back in to make more changes.
When you are ready to save the changes you have made, click on the "Save" button:
MindTouch will also automatically save your changes in case your browser crashes or computer restarts so that you can return to the page and pick up where you left off. You can see it saving right under the editor:
Now you know how to make basic edits and changes to already existing documents. Your new document is starting to take on life!
