Touchpoints provide a JavaScript programming interface that allows Touchpoints to communicate with each other and the web application where they are embedded.
Touchpoints were designed for non-programmers to be able to create and deploy website and web application integrations. The topics in this section are intended for developers who are comfortable with intermediate to advanced JavaScript programming.
Many customers have found Touchpoints to be a low-friction way to setup integrations with a Expert site quickly. If you have requirements beyond what Touchpoints alone provide, integration programming, through the use of DOM event listeners, provide more control over Touchpoint behavior such as loading order, auto-searching, and contextual help analytics tracking.
