Hide the category search bar with CSS (SAP KC)

Wish you could get rid of the pesky search bar on your category pages?  This guide will walk you through the process of using CSS to hide these elements of your pages and re-center your title after the search has been hidden.

Why should I use it?

MindTouch category pages are configurable using CSS.  Depending on the intended use of the category page, some editors may prefer to hide the search bar for a more sleek and user-friendly experience.

Adding a CSS Block

  1. Add a CSS snippet to your category page.  This is accomplished by selecting the CSS option from the Styles dropdown in the editor.

   2.  Insert the following CSS snippet into your category page:

#search-product {
    visibility: hidden;
#search-product-button {
    display: none !important;
div#deki-page-title {
    margin: 35px 0 0 60px;

   3.  Click Save.

What It Looks Like on Your MindTouch Site

Your category site has now been configured! Save the page, and you will find that the category search bar no longer clutters your page title, and the title remains properly centered.
