Stop a page from redirecting

Whether you manually added a redirect or whether MindTouch added one behind the scenes due to a page having been copied or moved, there may be times you need to remove a redirect from a page:

If page A is redirecting to page B, but you now want to restore page A or create new content at A, you will need to remove the redirect on page A

  1. Type the URL for page A into the browser's address bar and add ?redirect=no to the end of the URL. For example, if the page A URL is, the URL should be typed as follows:
  2. On the MindTouch toolbar, click Edit to open page A.
  3. Delete the following text from the page:
#REDIRECT [[path/to/page]]
  1. Click Save.
