Configure your users as contributors

Role required:
Assign a contributing (Pro Member) role to a MindTouch user.

Users must be configured as Pro Members to be able to contribute to your MindTouch site. Your contributing members are any user within (or outside) of your organization you want to empower to draft, update, edit, or manage your documentation.

Make your users contributors

  1. On the MindTouch toolbar, navigate to Site tools > Control panel.
  2. Under Users, select the user(s) to edit.
  3. Click Change roles.
  4. Under Seat Management, select the Pro Member radio button.
  5. From the drop-down menu, choose the appropriate contributor role for your users.

    We recommend assigning the role of Viewer to your Pro Members here in the control panel and granting higher access to specific pages as needed through group permissions.
  6. Click Change roles.
