July Updates

Coming Soon

TLS Security Update (announced 2019-02-28, Release 2019-08-01)
To improve the security of Expert sites, HTTPS requests using the TLS 1.0 protocol to Expert servers will no longer be supported. TLS 1.1 and 1.2 will continue to be supported. All Expert supported operating systems and browsers will not be affected, however, older clients built using older versions of OpenSSL may be affected. Contact the Support Team with any questions regarding this change.

Recently Completed

Dashboard side menu (announced 2019-07-11, Release 2019-07-18)
The Dashboard will include a new collapsible side menu that enables easier navigation between pages in different sections of the Dashboard.

Secure API Access Update (announced 2019-05-16, Release 2019-07-11)
To improve accessibility to the Expert API to those with Secure API Access enabled, authenticated users will be able to navigate to API endpoints to see responses through the browser. The available API endpoints can be viewed through /@api/deki/@about . In addition, in order to improve security to those with Secure API Access enabled, JSONP API responses have been disabled. JSONP is an obsolete method for transferring data between cross domain websites. In addition, JSONP has known security flaws and has been supplanted in modern web browsers by a more secure mechanism called Cross Origin Resource Sharing (CORS). Expert supports CORS when Secure API Access is enabled by providing browser API tokens.
